Signatures
Each wave washing ashore has a very distinct signature on the sand and rocks. No two waves are alike in the mark they leave, for the fleeting few seconds on land. Like fingerprints, they are best delineated when contrast is high. With this in mind, I exposed for the white foam and processed the images to eliminate any extraneous information. What I found left was, to me, the very signature of the wave on land. |
